Creating Innovative AI Software to Accelerate Battery Pack Technology Requires a Multifaceted Team
The future is electric. Electra envisions a world where energy storage expands throughout multiple sectors, reaching global electrification goals, and we intend to take part by removing battery technology barriers.
However, with unpredictable battery fault events leading to unsafe battery conditions, limited range capabilities that create range anxiety, and static battery management strategies that mismanage unique battery packs, current battery technology is holding the mobility world back.
Electra was co-founded in 2015 by Fabrizio Martini, who came to the idea while working as a Principal Investigator on a NASA project. Electra creates active embedded battery pack controls, design simulation software, and data analysis to address the issues current e-mobility hardware presents. With the latest in Machine Learning and access to over 300 cell models for simulation, Electra is equipped to enable current battery pack technology for optimal range, performance, lifetime, and safety across applications and industries.
